Thanks, BKK This universal charger works great with my Zen MP3 player. I don't have to have it laying on the floor, connected to computer to charge, as my PC is on the floor.I can plug it into any outlet.
The charger is supposed to include over-voltage and short-circuit protection, which reassures me that it won't fry things.Griffin's website claims that this charger works with ".Sansa, Creative, Zune, Samsung, iPod, iPhone and most other MP3 players and devices that charge via USB". It doesn't take long to fully recharge our players. However, as other reviewers have already noted, it might not work for ALL USB devices. My wife and I bought this while traveling so that we could recharge her iPod Shuffle and my Sandisk Sansa Clip. We've only used it for a few days, but it fits easily while traveling and we can charge both players at the same time.
1.Good design2.Compact3.Dual USB charger4.Probes are foldable5.Works with 2nd generation IPOD Touch
At ~$25 and from Griffin, I expected that it would last for more than a week. One week later, the green status LED isn't steady anymore and when I plug in my Touch it keeps turning on during charge. It's like the charger is pulsing instead of a steady charge. I have way too many USB devices to charge and this device seemed like a great way to cut down on the number of charging blocks. Griffin obviously has quality issues with this device and I would recommend you looking for another charger. First week it was great, it charged everything without a problem. Since I have a second generation iPod Touch, the first review put my mind at ease that it would charge all of my devices. Phone, touch, iPod, Clip, no problem.
please opt for a better quality build like the Griffin PowerBlock The Griffin PowerBlock Dual Univeral USB Wall Charger is slim, clean and very well built. So far it has powered my Zune, HTC, LG Shine and USB powered speakers.I have used many USB chargers. Don't buy cheap versions, they will not last long.
